On iPhones, iPads, and Apple TVs, users will be able to sing alone or in a duo with real-time lyrics thanks to Apple Music Sing.
Apple’s new Apple Music Sing feature will allow users to sing their favourite song with lyrics in karaoke mode.
The feature will be available soon at the end of this month, and it will be available on the iPhone 11 and later models, as well as the third-generation iPad and beyond. The 2022 model of TV 4K will create a unique karaoke experience with Music Sing, through the Apple Music app.
The sliders can be used to control the volume of the sounds in the song library and the mixer will allow users to choose whether they prefer to mix their voice with the singers or stand out and go solo. Background vocals can be viewed from the lead vocal for up-and-coming singers to easily follow, while the Duet view will split the screen for vocals from multiple singers on opposite sides of the screen.
The microphone icon in the Music app will display the volume of the audio track, after browsing the app’s lyrics screen.
Apple plans to release a series of more than 50 playlists dedicated to singing, such as Epic Choruses and Iconic Duets. Music and Beats vice president Oliver Schuster said in a press release that “Apple Music’s lyrics experience has always been one of the most popular features of our service. We already know that our users around the world “Love to follow their favourite songs, so we wanted to develop this offer to allow more sharing of music through singing. It’s really a lot of fun, our customers will love it.”
