
Facebook has a record-breaking two billion users

In the third quarter of the year, Facebook’s active monthly user base was close to 2.93 billion, or roughly 2.96 billion people.
The Q4 2022 earnings report from Meta shows that there are two billion daily active users on Facebook.
The company, which was introduced about 20 years ago, has reached a record number of daily active users. This time, Facebook’s year-over-year gain was 4%.
Chief Executive Officer Mark Zuckerberg noted in a statement “Our community is still expanding, and I’m happy with how well our apps are being used. The company recently passed the 2 billion daily active user mark. Reels and our work on our AI discovery engine are the main forces behind this. In addition, 2023 is the “Year of Efficiency” for management, and we’re committed to building a stronger, more agile organisation.”
The number of the company’s active monthly users was close to 2.93 billion in the third quarter of the year, or almost 2.96 billion.
While Facebook is making more money, Reality Labs at Meta lost a staggering $13.7 billion in 2022.
