For Prime subscribers, Amazon expands the selection of ad-free music and podcasts

Prime members will have access to over 100 million songs ad-free, along with the best podcasts on Amazon.

E-commerce giant Amazon.com said Tuesday that it will provide more ad-free music and podcasts to its top members.

Amazon wrote in a blog post that Prime members, who have so far been able to listen to around two million songs ad-free, will now have access to more than 100 million songs ad-free, along with the best podcasts.

Prime members can discover more new music and podcasts based on what they like; play any random artist, album, or playlist in the catalog; stream and download a collection of All-Access playlists tailored to personalized on-demand listening preferences for offline listening, the company said.

The move comes as retailers work to bundle entertainment services like live streaming with their flagship apps in a bid to boost their membership offerings.
