The Netflix video transmission platform has presented a list of countries that will impose more account exchanges from August. The last development continues after the company regretted the losses that stated that the exchange of passwords for families was contributing. In March, we reported that Netflix was testing an advantage that would charge an additional price for users who share their passwords outside their homes. However, this additional rate will be less than the original subscription rate.
The decision to collect more occurred after the company informed the growth of subscribers in the fourth quarter of 2021, which extended to the first quarter of 2022. The company lost 200,000 subscribers for the first time in ten years. Netflix also estimated that 100 million additional homes share accounts with 222 million homes they pay.

The company will launch this job to exchange accounts in the Republic of Dominican, El Salvador, Honduras, Argentina, and Guatemala next month.
When announcing the development, Chengyi Long, which is: “In the past 15 years, we have worked hard to build an easy-to-use transport service, even for people who travel or live together.” It is great for our members to love both films and Netflix TVs that you want to share on a wider scale.
But the generalized exchange of accounts between families undermines our long-term ability to invest and improve our service. So we carefully explore different ways so that people who want to share their accounts pay more. In March 2022, we launched the “Additional Member” function in Chile, Costa Rica, and Peru. From next month, we will launch an alternative feature for “adding a house” in Argentina, the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras.
