For Blue subscribers, Twitter has launched an “Edit” option.
Social media giant Twitter has finally launched the long-awaited “edit” tweet button for Blue subscribers in Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. The feature is expected to launch soon in the US as well.
Blue subscribers in select countries can edit tweets five times for up to 30 minutes after posting. The limits attached to the feature will help ensure that users do not abuse the option and spread misinformation.

Edited Tweets will display a timestamp to let users know that the Tweet has been edited and also allows them to view their editing history. A small pencil icon next to the Tweet will show that it was edited as users scroll through their feed.
App revealed to TechCrunch that the feature is being tested and feedback from users will determine whether the number of available mods should be changed. The edit button has been the most requested feature on the platform and is being tested with Blue subscribers before it is released to everyone. The company has not announced when the Blue subscription will roll out to more users in other countries.
