Twitter engineers can still use ‘GodMode’ to tweet like any account
Regarding this, a complaint has been made against Twitter to the FTC.
According to a former company employee, programmers still have access to “privilege mode,” an internal tool that allows them to tweet from any account. It was formerly referred to as “GodMode.”
A production laptop always has access to the programme. The engineer only needs to modify “FALSE” to “TRUE,” according to the employee.
The phrase “THINK BEFORE YOU DO THIS” is constantly present due to the sensitivity of this code.
The FTC has previously received a complaint on this issue against the company.
According to reports, the FTC is looking into this situation and speaking with former Twitter workers.
