Twitter is Testing a Long Feature Called Notes

After expanding its character limit to 280 characters, Twitter is now testing another desired feature called Notes

With the new feature, users can directly post a long text with the option to upload media. The company confirmed the news through a tweet on its platform.

According to The Verge, the new feature is currently available for select regions, including Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Ghana. People in most of these countries can use Twitter’s comments feature.

According to Twitter, users can click the “Write” tab to start writing a note and include it in their tweets. These notes may contain photos, videos, or other forms of media.

According to details shared on Twitter’s website, “For readers in testing countries, you’ll see note cards (tweets with comment previews and links) on the home timeline if you follow someone who participate in the test note group, or if someone was following retweets, quoting tweets, or sharing a link to a note.”

Various reports have surfaced on various social media platforms in recent months regarding the launch of the new feature. It has finally confirmed an update that could help the platform add more value to its content. However, Twitter has not given any timeline regarding its worldwide launch.
